Application of stainless steel seamless pipe

Stainless steel seamless pipes used as reprocessing devices reduce the carbon content in order to try to control the chromium-carbon compounds in the weld affected areas, or limit the content of silicon and phosphorus in 310Nb steel. In addition, in 304ULC steel, in order to improve the corrosion resistance in nitric acid, the steel industry that tries to limit the phosphorus content to less than 0.015% is manufactured. Through repeated 65% boiling nitric acid corrosion test for 20 times, it is concluded that if the solution treated material has a corrosion degree of 0.1mm/a or less, and the sensitized material at 650°C ×2h has excellent corrosiveness if the corrosion degree is below 0.2mm/a.

Ti-5a alloy, which has improved titanium and comprehensive corrosion resistance, has been used in the manufacture of U, Pu solution evaporation boilers and heat recovery evaporation boilers at the Tokai Reprocessing Plant in Japan. In addition, because zirconium has stable corrosion resistance in a nitric acid environment, zirconium is used in its continuous dissolving tank at the reprocessing plant in Rokusho Village, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
