With the diversification and advanced use of stainless steel, and the continuous development of decorative and artistic direction, stainless steel color oxidation has been increasingly widely used because of its high decorative function.
After pre-treatment, screen printing, graphic etching, ink removal, post-treatment chemical coloring and other processes, stainless steel coloring not only gives stainless steel products a variety of colors, increases the variety of decors of the product, makes the graphics clear, three-dimensional sense, good decorative performance, but also improves the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the product. The diversity of stainless steel surface treatments provides more choices for the brightness and durability of the building's appearance, and also provides the possibility for the exploration and development of curtain wall design to higher heights and more complex environments.

Although the stainless steel plate is corrosion-resistant, it does not mean that stainless steel will not corrode, if the stainless steel plate is improperly used and maintained or the use environment is too bad, local oxidative corrosion will also occur.
There are three main forms of corrosion of stainless steel: chemical corrosion, electrochemical corrosion, and stress corrosion. The parts with weak corrosion resistance in the passivation film on the surface of stainless steel form a pitting corrosion reaction due to self-excitation reaction, generate small holes, coupled with chloride ions approaching, forming a strong corrosive solution, which will accelerate the speed of corrosion reaction; There is also intergranular corrosion cracking inside stainless steel, all of which will have a destructive effect on the passivation film on the surface of the stainless steel plate.
