Based on the characteristics of stainless steel seamless pipe and welded pipe and the above differences, reasonable selection should be made in the application to achieve economical, beautiful and reliable effects, and the following aspects should be paid attention to:
1. When used as decorative pipe, product pipe and prop pipe, it is generally required to have good surface effect, and stainless steel welded pipe is usually selected;
2. For generally lower pressure fluid transportation, such as low-pressure systems such as water, oil, gas, air and heating hot water or steam, stainless steel welded pipes are usually selected;
3. For pipelines used to transport fluids in industrial engineering and large-scale equipment, as well as pipelines that require high temperature and high pressure resistance and high strength to transport fluids on boilers of power stations and nuclear power plants, stainless steel seamless pipelines should be selected;
4. Stainless steel welded pipe is generally used for liquid transportation below 0.8MPa, and seamless pipe can be used to withstand liquid transportation above 0.8MPa. If the pressure requirement is not high, it is more economical to use welded pipe.
